OVERVIEW

For this project, we were given a conceptual, open brief to design the UI for an app called 'Honk,' an app that plays horn noises during meetings. We were encouraged to get creative and had full freedom over the visuals, something we often wouldn’t have the opportunity to do with a live client.

CONCEPT

With my concept, I wanted to have fun by expanding on the idea of customising the horns that could be played during meetings. Drawing inspiration from Call of Duty’s ‘Create a Class’ feature, I aimed to give users full control over the attachments they could use to personalise their horns.

DESIGN

The visuals were designed to be dark and powerful, incorporating ambient lighting and glowing elements. I chose a modern, tech-inspired font, along with subtle smoke and grain textures to evoke the atmosphere of an 'armoury' setting.
